Abstract

The growth, urban and commercial development of the city of Huaquillas, province of El Oro, has been booming in recent years, and beyond the positive factors, it has brought with it a problem of road mobility due to the fact that the streets and avenues The main roads have been collapsed due to the high traffic flow present in these areas.
For this reason and responding to the existing problems within the central area, the technical project corresponding to the "Design and geometric layout of Benalcázar street from Juan Montalvo street to Martha Bucaram street" has been developed.
This project consists of presenting a design proposal and geometric layout using specialized highway design software in order to reduce vehicular congestion in the central area of the city.
