Abstract

The construction industry is one of the most important for the development of populations. In Ecuador, due to scarce resources, this industry has difficulty developing constantly. For this reason, strategies have been developed to improve the productivity of the industry. improving processes and techniques is where the Lean Construction philosophy intervenes, which with the tools that are based on this philosophy allow us to diagnose and improve civil projects such as in this case sanitary and storm sewage, with this a diagnosis of the problems that affect to the productivity of labor such as balance sheets, interviews and loss detection surveys and calculating the real performance of labor to know its variation with respect to the theoretical present in the unit price analyses, with Using these tools, it was possible to determine activities and items that generate productivity losses in the project, such as the installation of pipes, which presented a high level of losses to the project.
