All contents of the Cuban Journal of Engineering are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 Unported License.

Non-commercial use of published articles or part of their content is permitted provided that the source is cited. This circumstance must be expressly stated in this way when necessary.

Authors must not include in their articles information taken from other published or unpublished works without proper citation of the source. The author must cite and give proper attribution to those publications that have influenced and determined the nature of the article to be published in order to guide the reader to previous works that help them understand the published work.

If a manuscript is accepted for publication, the author has the right to have it published.

The main author has the right to withdraw his or her manuscript from the evaluation process at any time, without affecting its consideration for future publications.

Authors who publish with RCI agree to the following terms:

a. Authors retain all copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication of the work as licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 Unported License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

b. Authors may separately enter into additional agreements with the Editorial Board for publication of their work or a version of it in another journal, with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
