VARIABLES TO ESTIMATE PHYSICAL VULNERABILITY UNDER ANTHROPIC DAMAGES: PATRIMONIAL ZONE OF CAMAGÜEY
Keywords:
anthropic effects, knowledge base, physical-residential vulnerabilityAbstract
The preventive approach to asset risk management should be particularly strengthened in the face of the slow, cumulative and underlying impacts of the anthropic effects of the housing stock in historic areas. There has been an increase in potential damage caused by human action or inaction in the houses of heritage sites, however, the lack of perception and management of this type of threats, is manifested to a great extent. That is why, the use of artificial intelligence techniques is used to support the identification and evaluation of the vulnerability that these effects cause, considering that, there are references of experiences of their application, for some extreme natural events in historical urban areas. Therefore, a sector of the World Heritage area of Camagüey city has been taken as a case study, to determine the significant variables for the elaboration of a Knowledge Base that allows estimating the physical-residential vulnerability to anthropic impacts. In this way, the analysis carried out made it possible, to select the attributes to later elaborate the knowledge base that will contribute to more complete and better supported studies, to show quite real results, make decisions and propose measures to reduce this vulnerability.
